Here is an example of what is expected at our 2nd Grade Wax Museum. We will have our Wax Museum on May 30, 2014. This video clip is from last year. The student researched and dressed as George Washington.
Our tiny little caterpillars have grown into beautiful painted lady butterflies. Every single caterpillar emerged from its chrysalis this week and the kids were so excited. We celebrated on Friday afternoon with releasing the butterflies into our school butterfly garden and enjoying some yummy Popsicles!
We had a wonderful day at the museum! Thanks to our awesome parent helpers for making the day a success.
We had a great time at field day! The weather was gorgeous and everyone had so much fun. Here are some pictures from our day.
Our 2nd graders have been working so very hard to learn about subtracting 3 digit numbers with regrouping. Check out the newest activity we did to keep it fun! We learned how to scan QR codes to self-check our answers. The kids loved checking their work with these codes. I think I'll be making more of these soon!
